Our primary business is consultancy. Software development is humanised when processes and structure make it more predictable and more reliable. We are good at setting realistic goals and deliverables. We call our process the Arctus Methodology.
We also build software that helps people achieve more. Our dream is to transform IT in small business by providing the kind of quality software that until now has been available only to large business. Our sights are set first of all on IT contractors, but we have big plans to help all kinds of small businesses. This is our long term mission.
This month we're working towards launching several new Arctus products; a pixel-art drawing app for iPad, and a simple diary system for keeping a log of your daily thoughts. Both of these should be on-line towards the end of the month, and we'll be sure to post more closer to the time.
An update to NightOwl is almost finished and should ship this month.
We're also very excited by the prospect of the first Raspberry PI boards shipping this month. Raspberry PI are low-cost computers that will hopefully have many similarities to the computers that so many of us started programming on in the 8-bit era. These boards have the potential to revolutionise IT education, and we're curious to see if we can help.
